Past District Governor Eric Wright has opened a loose grouping for 'ideas men and women' and invites all those with marketing, sales and promotional experience to contribute suggestions.

 
"We're not going to form another committee, but we do want to invite those with entrepreneurial ideas to join what is likely to be an occasional phone and online forum," he said. "What we really want is to get inventive suggestions from Lions on recruiting new members, forming new clubs and expanding the organisation. We have a lot of well tried and tested methods which serve us well. But we want to 'push the envelope' with ever more creative ideas from people.
 
"Anyone who wants to can join and we'll never shoot suggestions down. There won't be any meetings or travel involved. But I'd love to hear from Lions who have something to contribute. Hopefully it will turn into fun and we'll circulate ideas among the whole District.
