Elmet Lions are part of the Lions International community, a small group of professionals who look at how we can help out and support the community (Sherburn, South Milford, Barkston Ash, Hillam & Monk Fryston, Ulleskelf, Saxton, Church Fenton)

We agreed that our Vision/ Mission Statement could be encompassed as:

· To Empower Volunteers To Serve Their Community

And our purpose could be more accurately described as Promises:

· An active interest in local community affairs

· To develop a better visible presence in the community

· To provide other help and support as an when required

· Develop a good social life in the organisation

· Promote open discussion within the club to review and challenge our approach
